Find the frame you actually want

Special-Order Almost Any Eyeglass Frame

You do not have to limit your eyewear search to the frames on one display. If you have found a design elsewhere, saved a photograph, or want to replace a favorite model, Classic Vision Optical & Optician can help investigate it. We can special-order almost any frame, subject to availability and suitability for the lenses you need.

Our Borough Park, Brooklyn, shop combines broad frame sourcing with a particular focus on premium lenses. Bring the reference you have, even if it is incomplete. We will start by clarifying the exact frame and discussing the prescription rather than promising that every frame shown online can be supplied or made into every kind of glasses.

Start with a photo, model number, or your current frame

A model number is the clearest starting point when you know exactly what you want. Include the brand, color code, and size if available. A photograph can still be helpful, especially when it shows the front and temples, but it may not establish the precise version. Two frames that look similar in a picture can be different products.

If you already own the frame, bring it with you rather than relying only on a description. Tell us whether you want the same model, a different size, or simply a similar look. If your reference is a screenshot, include any accompanying product details so the inquiry does not depend entirely on visual identification.

Call, text, or WhatsApp (718) 621-5717 to begin the conversation. Treat an initial image match as an inquiry, not an order confirmation. Availability, configuration, and the proposed lens combination need to be checked before you make a final decision.

Almost any brand, with honest availability limits

Classic Vision carries designer names including LINDBERG, Silhouette, Tom Ford, Ray-Ban, Gucci, Prada, Versace, and Oakley. Our special-order conversation is broader than the frames currently displayed. If another brand or a particular model interests you, ask us to investigate rather than assuming an empty display space means it is out of reach.

The word almost matters. We do not promise access to every discontinued design, every limited release, or every size and color. An exact request may need confirmation, and a photograph alone is not proof that the pictured frame remains available. We would rather establish the facts than make a commitment based on an attractive listing.

If the exact request cannot be fulfilled, tell us which details matter most: the shape, construction, color, or overall feel. That gives the next conversation a useful direction without pretending a different frame is identical to the one you originally wanted.

LINDBERG made-to-order and personalized choices

LINDBERG is especially relevant when you want to consider a frame configuration rather than only choose a finished display model. The manufacturer's personalisation guidance describes choices that can include color, size, temple length, nose pads, and other elements, depending on the collection.

For a LINDBERG made-to-order inquiry, bring the model or collection you like and ask which configurable options apply to it. Do not assume every option is interchangeable across the entire range. We can help you discuss the requested combination while keeping fit and the planned prescription lenses in view.

Personalization should begin with a clear brief. Tell us whether you are trying to reproduce a previous pair, change a particular detail, or explore a new direction. The available configuration needs to be confirmed for the actual model rather than inferred from another frame's product page.

Choose premium lenses alongside the frame

A special-order frame does not mean the lens choice must become an afterthought. Classic Vision can order any lens from every major lens maker, including all Varilux and Essilor lenses, ZEISS, Hoya, Shamir, and Horizons Mimesys. We can discuss the design that fits your prescription and daily visual tasks.

The American Academy of Ophthalmology distinguishes single-vision lenses from multifocal options such as progressives. Materials and coatings are additional choices: polycarbonate and Trivex bring impact-resistance considerations, high-index materials can help with thickness in stronger prescriptions, and anti-reflective coatings reduce lens reflections.

Ask for those decisions to be explained separately. A frame brand, a lens design, a lens material, and a coating answer different questions. Yossi Einhorn's engineering background helps keep comparisons focused on the actual specification, while Shaul Einhorn's licensed fitting brings the conversation back to the finished pair you will wear.

Check frame and lens compatibility before committing

Before placing a special order, ask us to review the exact frame with your prescription and intended lens design. Do not assume that a model shown with clear demonstration lenses or fashion sun lenses is automatically suitable for your planned prescription. The complete combination needs consideration.

For progressives, prescription sunglasses, and specialized lenses such as Stellest, ask about the applicable manufacturer requirements. For a high prescription or a strongly curved sun frame, make compatibility a question early in the conversation rather than after the frame has been chosen. We should be discussing the lenses and frame together.

Questions we hear

Frequently asked

Can you order a frame that is not in your Brooklyn shop?
We can special-order almost any frame. Send or bring the brand, model, color, and size if you know them. Exact availability and prescription compatibility must be confirmed before an order is finalized.
Can you identify eyeglasses from a photograph?
A photograph can help start the search, but it may not establish the exact model or size. Include a product link or model information if available, or bring the existing frame for a more specific discussion.
Can I request a made-to-order LINDBERG configuration?
Yes. Ask about the available choices for the particular model or collection. LINDBERG describes personalized options including color, size, temple length, and nose pads, but not every option applies to every frame.
Can you fit premium prescription lenses into a special-order frame?
Yes, when the frame and proposed lenses are compatible. Classic Vision can order lenses from every major maker. Bring your prescription so the frame, lens design, material, and fitting requirements can be considered together.
Can you guarantee a discontinued frame or a delivery date?
No guarantee should be assumed. An exact model's availability needs checking, and timing must be discussed for the individual order. Contact the shop before making plans that depend on a particular frame arriving.
