Versace eyeglasses, chosen around your prescription

Versace eyewear makes its presence felt through shape, proportion, and recognizable Medusa details. But choosing a distinctive frame is only half the decision. At Classic Vision Optical & Optician in Borough Park, we start with how you need to see, then work out whether the frame you love is a sensible match for your prescription and everyday routine.

We may not have this brand on the wall. Tell us the model, color, and size you want, or send a clear photo, and we order it in after checking sourcing. Availability of a specific model, color, and size is confirmed when we order. Our independent service does not imply affiliation with Versace.

The Versace signature: expressive shapes and Medusa details

Gianni Versace founded the fashion house in 1978. Its eyewear carries that expressive approach into frames with prominent hardware and confident proportions. EssilorLuxottica currently lists Versace among its licensed eyewear brands. That identifies the eyewear maker; it does not mean a frame automatically comes with the prescription lens design that is right for you.

Two verified optical examples are Medusa Biggie O3320U and Medusa ’95 O3335. Versace describes the O3320U as a rectangular acetate frame with wide, Medusa-embellished temples inspired by 1990s hip-hop culture. The O3335 has a squared acetate front, nylon temples, and Medusa ’95 hardware. These are useful reference points for a conversation, not a promise that either configuration can currently be ordered.

Look beyond the name to the exact construction

A collection name does not establish the material of every frame within it. For example, Versace describes the Medusa Biggie O3368U as injected material, while the O3320U is described as acetate. Send the complete reference rather than asking only for a Biggie frame. Small differences in the code can lead to a substantially different shape, construction, or fit.

We also look at how the bridge supports the frame and where the temples sit. A bold temple should not be the reason you accept pressure or slipping. Your existing comfortable glasses can provide a useful size reference, but matching the printed lens width alone does not establish that two frames will fit alike.

Strong prescriptions and progressives need a frame check

Before ordering a large square or rectangular style, we review the actual lens outline, your prescription, and your eye position. For a strong prescription, ask us to compare a moderate-size option with the oversized look you have saved. We assess the likely finished result rather than promising that a particular lens material will solve every concern.

Progressives require their own assessment. ZEISS explains that not every progressive design fits every frame and that important viewing areas can be lost when lenses are shaped to fit. We check usable depth and fitting position rather than treating a generous-looking frame as automatic approval. A very shallow style, a highly curved sunglass frame, or a rimless alternative needs separate confirmation of lens and mounting compatibility.

Why the lens matters more than the logo

The Medusa detail is visible to other people; the lens is what you use throughout the day. We ask about driving, reading, computer work, and your experience with your present glasses before discussing products. The aim is a coherent pair of glasses, not a premium frame combined with a lens selected by habit.

Classic Vision can make lenses from every major maker, including all Varilux/Essilor, all ZEISS, all Hoya, Shamir, and Horizons Mimesys. We can compare a Varilux progressive with an appropriate ZEISS, Hoya, or Shamir option around your needs and frame measurements. Licensed optician Shaul Einhorn brings a warm, patient approach; his son Yossi uses his engineering background to separate meaningful lens choices from marketing language.

How ordering works at Classic Vision

Bring the model number or a photo, your current glasses, and your prescription. We check the proposed size against your face and prescription, confirm the exact reference and sourcing, and order the agreed frame. When it arrives, we verify the fit before completing lens measurements, then fit the finished lenses and hand-adjust the glasses at collection. We explain uncertainties before proceeding rather than promising an unverified delivery date.

Classic Vision has served Brooklyn since 1996 at 5314 18th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11204. Call, text, or WhatsApp (718) 621-5717 to start with a model inquiry. If you already purchased a Versace frame elsewhere, bring it for a condition and lens-compatibility assessment; ordering another frame may not be necessary.

Questions we hear

Frequently asked

Where can I get Versace eyeglasses in Brooklyn?
Contact Classic Vision with the model, color, and size, or a clear photo. We check sourcing and suitability before ordering. We may not have Versace on the wall, and availability of the exact configuration is confirmed when we order.
Can Versace frames take progressive lenses?
Many optical shapes are worth considering, but approval depends on the particular frame, its fitted position, and the progressive design. We check the measurements before committing to a lens order.
Are all Medusa Biggie glasses acetate?
No. Versace describes the O3320U optical frame as acetate and the O3368U as injected material. The complete model reference matters more than the collection name when identifying construction.
Can you replace the lenses in my existing Versace glasses?
We can assess your frame for new prescription lenses. Bring the glasses so we can inspect their condition, mounting, and fit before confirming whether the proposed lens work is suitable.
